Middle School is Scary! Going- Grey with The Wild Flower Patch Shop

Happy Tuesday!!! Today is the first day of school for me! I am thrilled to be working in a second grade classroom this year with some wonderful kiddos. It is also time for another fantastic challenge at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations! This week our challenge is an easy one I think, the theme is "For a Child". We have a wonderful sponsor this week The Wild Flower Patch. They have some of the most adorable images I've seen including Wild Flower Kids Digis and they were gracious enough to give the DT some to use to inspire you this week! Be sure to check out their store! One lucky person will win 5 digis of their choice from The Wild Flower Patch.

I made this card for one of the boys that moved up to middle school this year. He was so nervous about leaving our school and moving up that I told him I was going to write to him right after school started in Sept. and let him know he did great the first few days of school! He'll just be happy to know I was thinking of him! He was a bit of a daredevil so I thought this boy with the skateboard was perfect for him. I tried to give his shirt a tye die look using just the orange. What do you think?

The ladies really did a fantastic job on their creations this week so be sure to let them know how much they inspired you!
Welcome our 2 new Design team members

Weren't those fantastic creations this week!

Here are some challenges that fit my card

Totally Gorjuss Challenge 46-This is the wonderful sketch that I used on my creation.
ABC Challenge-"C" is for Charms is the letter for this week.
Allsorts Challenge Week 68-Their challenge this week is "New Beginnings". This is perfect because my card was made because of a move to the big school also!
Aud Sentiments Challenge #10-This week they have a great sentiment "Best Wishes" to use on my card! Great choice!
Cowgirl Up Sunday Stamp'en Challenge-This we the challenge is a fan favorite, "Anything Goes"! I love this challenge because you can see how others push their creative envelopes!
Digi Doodle Shop's Best Challenge #23-This week the challenge is to "Write Me A Message". They would like us to use a sentiment on our creation.
Fab 'n' Funky Challenge #38-This week their theme is "Living In A Material World". Luckily they are letting us use ribbon as our material! I have an obsession with ribbon, especially dotted kinds!
Pile It On Challenge #35-This week their fun challenge is "Pile On The Layers", I have that covered with my card. I love lots of layers!
Stamp Something Challenge-This week their challenge is a "Cute Something". I think this little boy is cute trying to look like he's cool!
Kaboodle Doodles Challenge #39-This is a new challenge for me. Their challenge is a photo inspiration this week. I was inspired by thr squares on the quilt for me creation! Great photo to work with.

These are all fantastic challenges, be sure to stop by and play with them!

Thank you so much for stopping by today to see what I have created. I really appreciate all the wonderful comments you leave for me to read.

Happy Creating,
Mary
