My Way!! Going Grey With Scrap-Creations Week 8

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday! Being Tuesday means that it is time for another great challenge for you to play along with us at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations. The challenge this week is this really fun sketch
I used an image from Mo's Digital Pencil for this card. I can't resist her images of the cutest kids! This one especially has so much personality. I also did my card in pink and brown because I found myself coloring everything I colored during vacation in blues so I decided she would be cute in pink! I think I need to change the sentiment though. What do you think?

The other ladies has done a fabulous job this week with this sketch. Be sure to stop by and let each one of them know what you think of their creation!

I hope you come play with us this week. We really love to see what others have done with our challenges. Just remember the only thing you need is to use Basic Grey paper on your creation and have fun!

Here are some other challenges that fit my card
Dare You to Digi Friday Challenge #36-The challenge this week is to use flowers somewhere on your creation. I used my Prima roses that I love!

Crafty Ann's Challenge #13-This challenge is a recipe, 1 main digi image, a max of 3 colors, 1 ribbon, and 3 flowers. I loved this recipe.

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge #47-This is a color challenge, pink and brown!

Hand Full of Stamps Challenge #25-Use Up That Stock is the challenge. You are to use 2 different pieces of DP on your creation. THAT'S NOT A PROBLEM FOR ME because DP seems to multiply on its own at my house!

Res-Q Challenge-This is an inspiration challenge. Look at the page of umbrellas and pick the one that inspires you. I chose the pink gerber daisy one and used the color as my inspiration!

Hope Stamps Eternal Cupcake Challenge #56-My inspiration from this cupcake is the colors, pink and brown. It is a great cupcake this week!

I hope you have a minute to check out these wonderful challenges and maybe even play along!

Loving Nature!

I am posting today after my first day back to school after vacation. It is always hard the first few days back. The kids aren't back into the routine right way and now they know summer can't be that far away. I had a quiet(nice) week and I finished it off yesterday with a full day of stamping with close friends! It was so much fun and a great way to end my vacation.

I got quite a few card done there and this is one of them. I love Sassy Cheryl's digis and finally decided to play along with their challenge, a great sketch. I have many of her images but this one worked best with the sketch and is really cute(I love ladybugs). I like the way the card came out, the only thing I would change is I wanted to stamp the saying in purple but only brought a blue ink pad and no one else brought any with them. A hazard of everyone using Copics these days I guess. I hope you like what I did with it. You can see the challenge Sassy Cheryl's Sassy Tuesday Challenge here.

Here are some other challenges that fit my card
Crafty Angels Challenge Week 32-The challenge is summer, my kids would explore for bugs on sunny, summer days when they were young!

Frosted Designs Challenge-The challenge is mask, I masked the image in order to make the cloud back round.

Raise The Bar Challenge #15-Color Me Happy is the challenge, to use your favorite color and then show a complimentary color. My favorite color is blue and I think that purple goes perfect with it!

Fab 'n' Funky Challenge #20-"Get It All Out" is their challenge, use up some old, neglected stash you have. I love polka dotted ribbon but I bought this ribbon so long ago and was afraid I would use it all so fast that I hoarded it and just opened it for the first time.

The Crazy Challenge-Buttons, Brads, and Eyelets is this fun challenge. I hardly ever think to pull out any of these so I used purple brads on this card!

S2G Challenge #53-Spring Has Sprung, add flowers to your project! I put 3 different flowers together to use on my card.

Supplies
Stamps: Sassy Cheryl's Digital Stamps, Penny Black(saying)
Paper: SU Bashful Blue, Lovely Lilac, Papertrey White, DP Basic Grey
Inks: Copics, SU Bashful Blue, Memento Black
Accessories:Nesties, Cloud Maker, Michaels Flowers, Prima Flowers, Boxer Scrapbooking Pins, SU Leaf Punch, LSS Ribbon, White Gel Pen, Misc. brads

Thanks so much for stopping by today to see what I have created. I really appreciate all the wonderful comments you leave for me to read.

A Gift For MOM

Good morning it is school vacation week here so I have this week off! Did you ever notice how fast vacation weeks pass by so quickly compared to work weeks. There are only 4 days left before we go back and I haven't even made a dent in my list of things that need to be done this week. I have gotten a lot of coloring finished. This cutie is one of the new releases from Sew Many Stamps that I was lucky enough to win. I love everyone of them especially the little boy and girl, they are so adorable.

I made this card following the sketch for the Sew Many Challenge this week and along with the sketch the theme is mother so I made a Mother's Day card. I used my favorite color blue as the main color. I accented the letters with my Rubber Stamp Tapestry mini flower set. The one thing I couldn't capture was all the sparkle, all the flowers on the image and the letters have Star Dust Stickles on them so the card really sparkles IRL. This card is simple compared to a lot of the cards I do but I am really happy with it.

Here are some other challenges that this card fits

Sew Many Challenge #11-A really cute sketch with a mother theme this week!

Dare You to Digi Stamp Challenge DU2DS35-this challenge is to use metal, I used a metal heart charm on my card.

Practical Scrappers Challenge-This challenge id floss, fiber and ribbon. The first two I hardly ever use but I live for ribbon (especially polka dotted).

ABC Challenge-S is for SPARKLE. Love this because I would sparkle everything if I could!

Totally Gorguss Challenge #26-Charming is the challenge. I love to use charms so I picked a double heart for a child and mother's heart together.

Supplies

Stamps: Sew Many Digi Stamps, Rubber Stamps Tapestry, Just Rite Letter Stamps
Paper: SU Choc. Chop CS, Papertrey White CS, DP Bo Bunny
Inks: Copics, Ass't. SU Inks, Memento Black and Brown
Accessories: SU square punch and ticket punch, Recollection Sticker Pearls, Stickles, Michaels Ribbon, JoAnns Silver Hearts Charm

Thank you for stopping by today to see what I created. I really appreciate all the wonderful comments that you leave for me to read.

I loved this challenge because I couldn't wait to use this cute image from Phindys Digi Stamps. I have it colored for awhile but just not the right opportunity to use it until this challenge. When You Gotta Go..., Going Grey With Scrap-Creations Challenge #5

Good Morning everyone. I hope your weather is as wonderful as it is here in New England! I just love everything about Springtime. This card is for the first challenge of April, Challenge #5 at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations. The theme for this week is SEW CUTE, create a card or project using a cute stamp or digi image!

Our wonderful sponsor this week is

They have absolutely adorable digital images that are wonderful to create with and the ladies couldn't be nicer or more helpful over there. All of the DT cards that were created this week used a Sew Many digi that was graciously donated to each of us by Sew Many and they are offering a great prize to the winner of this week's challenge so be sure to pull out your cutest stamp and play along with us, just remember to use Basic Grey paper on your creation.

I created an easel card this week because I just learned how to make them and it was so much fun I decided to make one for our challenge! This image made me laugh when I first saw it and thought of the comforts of home! I thought the image should look 3D so I popped up just the top half of the image after I cut it out. I also added two different colors of Flower Soft, green grass and citrus, to the ground to give the image some dimension. It took a couple of tries to get the wood to look weathered but I am happy with it.

Please look at what our wonderful DTs created that are SEW CUTE!

My Turn!!!!

Good Sunday Morning and HAPPY EASTER! I wanted to post this card and ask for your help. This card was made by me for The Greeting Farm Royal Battle card contest I am part of Team New England. Last week the card created by Kristen (Scrap Creations) was wonderful and moved us into this round. This week's contest is all about creating an easel card, this is my first attempt at one, and getting you wonderful people to vote for it if you like it. You get 3 votes so it lets you vote for your favorite 3 cards! So if you have a minute go to The Greeting Farm and cast your vote. Thank you so much, Team New England really appreciates your votes!

It was really fun and easy making an easel card. I don't know why I didn't try before this. These 2 stamps I used were from a new set I just got this week from TGF. I couldn't wait to ink them up! I also couldn't resist popping up the birds and his hat like they actually in the air. It took some playing around but I even figured out a way to have the girl lay flat and then be brought back upright when I give the card to someone. The DP is the new paper from BG, Kioshi. I love, love, love everything about it, the colors, the designs it is just beautiful. I love these little Prima roses that I stumbled upon at Michaels, who would guess they would have something new and current there.
