I am posting today after my first day back to school after vacation. It is always hard the first few days back. The kids aren't back into the routine right way and now they know summer can't be that far away. I had a quiet(nice) week and I finished it off yesterday with a full day of stamping with close friends! It was so much fun and a great way to end my vacation.I got quite a few card done there and this is one of them. I love Sassy Cheryl's digis and finally decided to play along with their challenge, a great sketch. I have many of her images but this one worked best with the sketch and is really cute(I love ladybugs). I like the way the card came out, the only thing I would change is I wanted to stamp the saying in purple but only brought a blue ink pad and no one else brought any with them. Frosted Designs Challenge-The challenge is mask, I masked the image in order to make the cloud back round.
Raise The Bar Challenge #15-Color Me Happy is the challenge, to use your favorite color and then show a complimentary color. My favorite color is blue and I think that purple goes perfect with it!
Fab 'n' Funky Challenge #20-"Get It All Out" is their challenge, use up some old, neglected stash you have. I love polka dotted ribbon but I bought this ribbon so long ago and was afraid I would use it all so fast that I hoarded it and just opened it for the first time.
The Crazy Challenge-Buttons, Brads, and Eyelets is this fun challenge. I hardly ever think to pull out any of these so I used purple brads on this card!
S2G Challenge #53-Spring Has Sprung, add flowers to your project! I put 3 different flowers together to use on my card.
