Happy Tuesday! It is beautiful here today finally in New England the sun has finally come out and it is getting warm. I don't think it is going to last but I'll take what I can get. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter with their family and friends, mine was great with my family.

Easter Delivery

Hello, Can you believe that the week is already half over. Time flies when you are on vacation! I am making some progress on my Spring cleaning inside my house but not so much out in my gardens because it is damp and dizzily outside. I took some time to play and finished one more of my Easter cards, this one is for my daughter. She really loves this color combo of teal and purple. I fell in love with this adorable Sassy Cheryl bunny using a sack instead of a basket to deliver the Easter eggs.

Earth Day Friends!

Hello, Happy Rainy Day at least here in New England! This is something you don't see me usually post. I thought I would post these cuties that I designed for the kids to make in the class that I work in for Earth Day. They are made of rolled up newpaper with the top then cut down in 3 inch strips to make the hair. They are sturdy enough to stand on their own. I made a Rodney and Ronda so they had a choice of a girl or boy to make. They stand 2 feet tall.

Everything was made from die cuts except the mouth. The bow was 2 hearts with a small circle in the center taped together and then traced to make the bow. The hands are the kid's hands that they traced themselves and the feet are a friend's foot that they traced and cut out. Almost everything was traced from scraps that I had or from old CS that I don't use anymore so that we could reuse and recycle as much as possible. The stars on the shoes are cut from my Dienamics Die, I let the kids use the Cuttlebug to cut those out everything esle I made tracers for the kids to trace and cut free hand. Eveything was glued on with a glue stick except the feet, they were glued to form a V and then I hot glued the newspaper roll to the feet. It will stand without the feet but they look cute with them.

I wish I could post a picture of the kids holding their creations because they all put their on creativity into theirs like fangs or earrings, you get the idea. Their picture can't be posted because of privacy concerns for some of them. If you have kids home on a rainy day this is a fun project to do with them.

Spring Laughter

Happy Tuesday! I am on vacation this week so I am loving it so far! I did promise my DH that I would get all my craft stuff cleaned up downstairs. The problem is that when I get down there I start to play and don't get everything put away!

Easter Friends

Happy Tuesday! I am counting down the days until school vacation(4 days left). I don't have any little ones at home any more so it really is a vacation for me! I am hoping to get a lot done around the house and in my gardens early in the week so I can craft later in the week, we'll see! Spring Happens!

WOW is the weather beautiful here today! It couldn't be more perfect, I think we can finally say Spring has arrived. Tomorrow is going to be warm but cloudy and it might even hit 75 on Monday! Winter seemed to last forever and so I hope Spring sticks around for awhile before the heat of summer comes along!

I did this card with Spring in mind because I am hoping to move all my potted plants outside into the sunshine were they love it. We have a neighbor who has a few cats that love to sun themselves on the cement skirt around our pool. I am always afraid of them knocking over anything that is in their way. The are cute but not friendly and they drive my DH crazy!

Lots of Hugs to Go Around!

Yeah it is Tuesday! I hope everyone is having a great week so far. I spent all day Saturday playing and stamping with my sister Peggy and friends Kristen and Pia. They are all very talented so it is nice to have their input when you are creating together. I was hoping to get many cards done, which never happens but I did finish some and started quite a few. We all had a fabulous time which is all that matters.
