Happy Groundhog Day

Every February 2nd Groundhog Day seems to be a big deal at school. The kids are ready for Spring and look to see if the groundhog sees his shadow or not. When I saw this stamp set I knew if I bought it I would be stamping a lot of this little guy for the kids to make things during recess or their free time. I grew to love coloring him also. This is my tribute to Groundhog Day and Spring even though he saw his shadow and we are going to have six more weeks of winter, starting with the 3-6 inches of snow we are expecting here tomorrow!

I decided to color the image with my Prisma pencils and Gamsol. Since I started using my Copics and haven't used much of anything else. I forgot how much fun pencils and Gamsol are to use, I guess I'll leave them out to use again real soon.

Supplies:
Stamps: Inky Antics
CS: SU Close to Cocoa, Pretty in Pink, GP white and DP Basic Grey
Ink: Stazon and SU Going Grey
Accessories: Prisma Colored Pencils, Gamsol, Prima flowers, Michaels Ribbon and misc. brads

I hope you enjoyed this card, it was really fun to make.

If you have a minute please leave a comment, I would love to hear from you on what you think of my creations.

Thanks for looking and come back to visit soon,

Mary

I love that groundhog! I really like how you layered your prisma flowers in the corner.
