Christmas in July

Today is Tuesday and that means it is time for another great challenge from Going Grey with Scrap-Creations. OOPS! Today is Wednesday and I am a day behind posting my card for the Going Grey Challenge this week. I finished my card with time to spare and started to write my post and then had to stop and planned to finish it later Monday night. I feel asleep on the couch and stayed there with a blanket all nice and comfy. Tuesday morning came I went off to work at summer school thinking I would post as soon as I got home but went to a long lunch with a friend and then forgot about posting because it was my daughter's B'Day last night. So here I am now finally posting my card and hoping you get a chance to play along with us this week! This week's challenge is Christmas in July! What a great way to start your holiday cards early.

I couldn't decide exactly what I wanted to play with that was Christmas when starting my card and then saw my Rubber Stamp Tapestry box and pulled out all the poinsettia sets (I have 3 different ones) and mixed and matched the different pegs to make a one of a kind holiday wreath. I love lots of sparkle at the holidays so I loaded up the wreath with Platinum Stickles so it would sparkle without outshining the wreath itself. I also made the saying by stamping the greeting then putting the acrylic bubble over it so it would be a bit more unique than just the saying stamped.

The ladies really outdid themselves with super cute cards for this challenge so be sure to stop by and see what they created to inspire you this week!

I hope you come play with us this week and remember to use Basic Grey paper on your creation!
