My Dear Friend

Good morning everyone! I am so happy that we are suppose to get a slight break from the here this weekend. We have had 7 days of very hot and humid weather. I have had all I can do to keep my flowers from baking. I am going to hate to open my water bill after this!

I made this card for a dear friend. She loves roses and grows the most beautiful ones every year.I decided her card would have roses on it. I just got this amazing Fiskers punch at the stamping convention. I had never seen a double punch before, I love having the 2 levers next to each other to punch the pattern around the card. It is the easiest yet to do and comes out perfect every time. I am definitely going to get some more of them soon! I cut out the little boy and popped him up as well as the rose frame. Not my usual thing to do but I felt it needed some dimension. Her favorite colors are pink and purple so this BG paper fit perfectly. I really hopes she likes it.

Here are some wonderful challenges that fit my card
Stampin' Royalty Challenge #27-This challenge is a really great sketch that I used.

Craftalicious Challenge #3-Their challenge is "cute", I think this little boy is very cute!

Incy Wincy Designs Challenge #48-Their challenge this week is "punches", I used this great rose border punch.
Stampavie and More Challenge #101-This week the challenge is "sparkling", all my flowers even the ones he is holdings are loaded with sparkle!

One Stitch At A Time Challenge #20-I love this challenge. They want us to use lace, ribbon and a bow. I love using all of these on my cards!

Pile It On Challenge #26-This is really fun challenge. My Favorite Things is the theme and my favorite things are embellishments, Sparkle and any kind of DP(especially Basic Grey). I used all my favorite things on this card!
Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #66-The inspiration from these yummy cupcakes for me were the pink, white and green colors and the roses!

Sweet Stampin' Challenge #33-"Pearls and Pins" is their challenge this week!

Stempeltraume Challenge #38-This is a recipe challenge this week- Lace, # flowers, 3 half pearls. A really great recipe!

These are all fantastic challenges so be sure to check them out and even play along!
