My Garden Journal

Hello and Happy Tuesday! I feel like I haven't been on my blog for so long even though I just missed a week. Last week was one of those weeks that seems like it would never end. It was the last week of school and we had so much planned that I seemed to work around the clock, we did a craft everyday to go along with the theme of the day, (I planned all the crafts and brought in everything to do them). The last day of school was a full day for staff so I spent the afternoon doing creative bulletinboards for a couple of teachers, so needless to say the last week and a half has pushed my creativity to the limit.

Being Tuesday it is also time for another challenge over at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations. This week we have a theme that was so different for me to do. The theme this week is Anything But A Card. I decided to do a garden journal for myself. I am getting into gardening and need to keep a journal so I know where I planted everything and what didn't do well so I can move it for the next year. I wanted something pretty so I could leave it out. When I saw this pretty flower fairy I knew it was perfect for the cover.  It is hard to see but I have lots of glitter on all the flowers(the second picture shows it a bit better), the journal was a dark green color so I painted it a light blue.
