Very Ice Tag
Can you believe that we are almost to the single digits on the countdown to Christmas! I thought I would be done with buying gifts by now but I still have a few that are stumping me. I went out shopping last night but still will need to go out again this week to finish up.
It is also Tuesday and time for another fun challenge over at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations. This week the challenge is MAKE IT A TAG!!! Who doesn't take a look at every tag on the presents under the tree. This week we want you to create a tag, it can be any kind at all just make sure you have fun creating it! We also have a fabulous sponsor this week
Their digis are just so wonderful and they were nice enough to give the DT some to play with and inspire you to play along. Be sure to stop by their store and check them out!I love snowmen so when I saw this cutie I knew I needed to create my tag with it. This tag is going on a snowflake bag that I bought for a gift for a friend at school. I used a doily as the back that I took off the table at a new restaurant my sister and I went to a week ago. They probably wondered where all the doilies on the table went when they cleaned up. A great find for the price of a delicious lunch.

All Wrapped Up! Going Grey With Scrap-Creations Challenge
I give a lot of gift cards every year for Christmas so to make it a little more personal I try to dress up them up a bit with a handcrafted holder. I chose this one to make this year after seeing it on Joni's Blog, she gave great instructions to make it, thanks Joni! You can't see it in the picture but it sparkles all over because I dotted each snowlkake on the DP with Stickles. Also all the snowflake embellishment either have been glittered or are made with prism paper so they have a lot of shine and sparkle. I also decided to make it hang this year so it could be put on the tree. I made the largest one so I could add a few goodies if I wanted with the card. I used a 12x12 piece of double sided DP (Bo Bunny). I may add a greeting to the back, I'm not sure yet.

Baby's 1ST Christmas
This card is the first Baby's First Christmas card I have ever made. I thought it would be pretty easy but then I realized most of the Christmas DP out there doesn't work well on a baby card. I looked around and found this really pretty Digi DP at Bearly Mine Designs. Her papers are gorgeous and I have never really think of using digi paper because I have so much regular DP. Boy have I found a new love. I printed it on CS so I could cut out some of the stars to use as accents around the image and saying. I guess I better ask Santa for lots of color ink cartridges.
I need to give one more shout out to Really Reasonable Ribbon. I won a gift certificate for their store. I loved their ribbons and prices so much I bought more ribbon from them. The ribbon on this card was a free sample they sent me with my order and it was something I wouldn't have picked myself. It is beautiful though and matched the DP perfectly so thank you RRR you made my day! Be sure to take a look at their store if you love ribbon like I do.

Who Doesn't Love Handcrafted Presents!
Here is my post you would have read on Tuesday!
It is time for another fabulous challenge over at Going Grey with Scrap-Creations. This week we have an easy challenge for you, Christmas. Whether you think of a decorated tree , presents all wrapped, a first snowflake, Santa down the chimney, a snowman just made or anything else that comes to mind when you think of Christmas we would love to see it this week.
For this challenge I decided to try my hand at an all white card. This was very hard for me because I love color to make the card "POP" and this time I needed to rely on textures like textured CS and shimmer white CS, embossing, glitter, ribbon and embellishments. My snowflake in the corner is all white, prism(silver) and white mother of pearl. When I took the picture the camera kept making it come out with colors even though IRL it doesn't show like that. It was a surprise to me so try to imagine it sparkly not colorful!
These are wonderful challenges that I played so be sure to check out them and hopefully play along.
Thank you so much for stopping by today to see what I created. I really appreciate all the wonderful comments that you leave for me to read.
