I am really sick of winter in New England already. Today we woke up to snow turning to freezing ran. It was wet and messy and left you house bound because the roads were so slippery. I had no school, our fifth snow day so far this winter. Since I was in the house and figured I would play with my stamping stuff.
This stamp made me think of spring instead of what was out my window. I decided to color it with bright colors. IRL they are even brighter but didn't scan good enough to show it. I wanted to make it a bit formal so I added the pin, pearls and bling on the center of the flowers. I'll probably use it as a thank you card. Once again I couldn't get myself to use another color besides the two shades of blue for the rest of the card. Can you tell blue is my favorite color?
Supplies:
Stamp: The Artful Stamper
Ink: Copics
CS: SU Ballet Blue, Night of Navy, GP white and white for coloring with Copics
Accessories: SU ribbon Dew Drops pearls, leaf pin, bling and cuttlebug
folder-swiss dot
I hope this card helped you think of Spring for a bit especially if winter is right outside your door. I am not done with winter and snowmen yet though so check back!
Enjoy,
Mary

Gorgeous card Mary. I am also SICK of this crap weather. Great card, and Happy Birthday!
That is so beautiful, Mary! What's really funny is I've been trying to figure out how to use those pins. A friend went shopping for me at a warehouse sale and I have those and also a bunch of epoxy paper clips. Now I need to figure out what to do with them.
You are so lucky! I only got a little delay. I wanted a snow day.
Beautiful card!!! I'm such an admirer of your work. I'm so glad that you decided to start a blog so I will be able to check out your cards more often. Thanks for sharing!
